The ASME class number is a rating designation, not a pressure expressed in psi. The allowable operating pressure depends on material, suhu, applicable code edition and joint design. A dimensional match alone does not establish an acceptable pressure rating.
Where C-2000 deserves a material review
The alloy’s copper addition distinguishes it from many other Ni-Cr-Mo grades and supports its evaluation in sulfuric-acid service. Chemical-processing equipment connections, reactor piping and heat-exchanger circuits are possible review cases. Selection must use the actual concentration, suhu, contaminants and operating cycle; the alloy name does not establish compatibility with every acid mixture.
C-2000 is a separate grade from C22 and C276

Confirm the entire welded connection
