ASTM F436/F436M defines chemical, mechanical and dimensional requirements for hardened steel washers used with bolts, nueces, studs and other threaded fasteners. Tipo 1 identifies carbon steel; the correct washer style and dimensions depend on the structural connection and mating fastener.
