ASTM A182 F310S Stainless Steel Flanges High Temperature & Corrosion Resistant

Categories: ,

Flanges that we provide is the forged or casted ring that is developed for connecting the piping sections or any other machinery that needs the intermediate connecting points. Flanges are used for joining each other through bolting or are joined to the piping system through threading or welding.

Stainless Steel Flange

ASTM A182 F310S Stainless Steel Flanges are forged flanges manufactured from low-carbon, high-temperature austenitic stainless steel grade 310S. This alloy offers excellent resistance to oxidation, sulfidation, and carburization at elevated temperatures, making it ideal for high-heat applications in industries such as petrochemical, power generation, furnace manufacturing, and chemical processing. The low carbon content of 310S enhances weldability and reduces the risk of sensitization and intergranular corrosion during welding or high-temperature service. ASTM A182 F310S flanges are available in a wide range of types including weld neck, slip-on, blind, and socket weld, with pressure classes ranging from Class 150 to Class 2500.These flanges comply with international standards such as ASME B16.5, B16.47, and EN 1092-1, ensuring compatibility with global piping systems.ASTM A182 F310S stainless steel flanges are forged components designed for use in high-temperature and highly corrosive industrial environments. Grade 310S is the low-carbon version of 310 stainless steel, offering superior weldability and resistance to sensitization compared to standard 310.

What is ASTM A182 310 / 310S / 310H SS Flanges?
  • ASTM A182 310 / 310S / 310H Stainless Steel Flanges are forged or rolled alloy flanges made from heat-resistant stainless steel grades in the 310 family, designed for high-temperature and corrosive service applications.

Here’s a breakdown of each grade:

    • 310: A high-alloy austenitic stainless steel with excellent resistance to oxidation and scaling at elevated temperatures (up to 1100°C). It contains high chromium (25-28%) and nickel (19-22%) content.

    • 310S: A low-carbon version of 310, designed to improve weldability and reduce the risk of sensitization (intergranular corrosion) after welding. Ideal for applications where frequent thermal cycling is expected.

    • 310H: A high-carbon version of 310, offering improved creep strength and better performance in high-temperature environments, particularly in pressure-containing components.
