Monel slip on flange is a pipe flange with a bore slightly larger than the pipe outside diameter, allowing the pipe to slip into the flange before fillet welding at the hub and back. It provides economical installation, good alignment and dependable sealing performance in low to medium pressure systems, while selected sizes and designs are also used in more demanding corrosive environments.
