ASTM F1554 Seviye 36 is a steel anchor-bolt grade with a specified 36 ksi yield-strength level. ASTM F1554 covers straight and bent, headed and headless anchor bolts, including all-thread rod used for anchoring structural supports to concrete foundations. The product may be called an anchor bolt or anchor rod depending on its geometry and project terminology.
Seviye 36 is selected when the project drawing, structural specification or engineer identifies it. The grade designation does not by itself define the complete part. Çap, toplam uzunluk, thread dimensions, bend geometry or head style, projection, embedment, kaplama, fındık, washers and documentation must also be stated.

Available anchor bolt configurations
Straight anchor rods
Straight rods can be supplied with threads at one end, both ends or over the full length. State whether the drawing dimensions use overall length or another reference point.
L-shaped and J-shaped bolts
Bent anchors require the leg or hook dimensions, inside bend radius, bend angle, threaded projection and overall length. A drawing reduces dimensional ambiguity.
Headed anchor bolts
Headed designs are supplied to the specified head style and dimensions. Head geometry, shank length and thread position must be defined before manufacture.
Assemblies
Nuts, pullar, plates or templates can be reviewed as part of the order. Each component requires its own material, boyutlar, finish and quantity.
How to define the order
1. Grade and edition
Durum ASTM F1554 Seviye 36 and the required standard edition or project specification.
2. Geometri
Provide the anchor type, çap, toplam uzunluk, thread and every bend, head or projection dimension.
3. Finish and assembly
Define plain or coated condition plus the nut, washer, plate and template requirements.
4. Quality scope
List marking, izlenebilirlik, denetleme, test report and third-party requirements before quotation.
Coating and assembly considerations
ASTM F1554 includes provisions for zinc coating when coating is ordered. The quotation should identify the coating process, the surfaces to be coated and whether nuts and washers are to be supplied as a coordinated assembly. Coating affects thread fit, handling and the selection or preparation of mating components, so a general request for “galvanized bolts” is not a complete purchase description.
For plain anchors, state whether temporary rust-preventive protection is acceptable for shipment. For coated anchors, identify any special packaging needed to protect the surface during transport. Field modification, kaynak, heating, rethreading or coating repair should not be assumed acceptable without the responsible engineer’s review.

ASTM F1554 anchor bolts are used to anchor structural supports to concrete foundations. Typical project uses include building columns, equipment supports, bearing plates, sign structures, street-lighting supports and traffic-signal supports. The exact grade and geometry are chosen by the design specification; similar-looking anchors may have different material, kuvvet, coating or traceability requirements.
Seviye 36 should not be substituted for Grade 55, Seviye 105 or an unspecified commercial anchor rod solely because the dimensions appear similar. A substitution review must consider the governing drawing, design loads, mekanik gereksinimler, installation method and applicable code.
Inspection and documentation
Order documentation can include dimensional inspection, malzeme izlenebilirliği, marking checks, coating records, mechanical test reports or third-party inspection when specified. These items are not automatically included in every quotation. State the documentation and witnessing requirements at RFQ stage so they can be priced and scheduled correctly.
