Pipe Nipples

Pipe nipples are short lengths of pipe prepared with threaded, plain or beveled ends for compact piping, equipment, drain, vent and instrument connections. Common configurations include threaded both ends, threaded one end, plain both ends, bevelled ends and close nipples.SASA FLANGE supplies cut-to-length nipples in carbon steel, stainless steel, alloy steel and selected corrosion-resistant materials. ASTM A733 may be specified for applicable carbon and austenitic stainless steel pipe nipples; the base pipe specification, schedule, thread form and end preparation must also match the project piping class. Material grade and dimensional standard should not be inferred from the generic term “nipple.”For quotation: provide NPS or DN, schedule or exact wall, overall or close length, material specification and grade, seamless or welded pipe basis, end combination, thread form, quantity, coating and documentation. State any special clean-service, sour-service or low-temperature requirements before manufacture.
