Orifice Flanges
Orifice flanges are supplied as a matched pair that holds an orifice plate and provides pressure-tapping points for differential-pressure flow measurement. They are used in process, oil and gas, chemical, power and utility piping where the primary element and flange union must align with the instrument design.SASA FLANGE supplies weld-neck, slip-on or threaded configurations where permitted by ASME B16.36 and the project specification. Material options include carbon steel, low-temperature steel, stainless steel, alloy steel, duplex and selected corrosion-resistant alloys. Tap arrangement, bore, facing, jack screws, plugs and orifice-plate accessories must be coordinated with the meter run and instrumentation package. For quotation: provide the standard edition, NPS, pressure class, material grade, flange type, facing, pipe schedule or exact bore, tap type and orientation, plate thickness, accessories, quantity and inspection requirements. Meter accuracy is an engineered system result and cannot be established by the flange selection alone.
